I'm Dave. From Canada. Yes, I know Bob that works in that office. :)

I play guitar, bass, ukulele, and mandolin. Rather, I'm learning to play.

I also build pedals. I started with kits. Now, I'm up to sourcing my own parts and building on fab'd PCBs. I've got some Vero board and I'll get there someday.
I've built my own amp kit as well.

Cars a big part of my life, too. MOPAR cars specifically. Hence the username.
I've tried to weave MOPAR related themes into my pedal graphics.
I call my amp "SCAMP" as in Plymouth Scamp.

I'm Glen. I'm French but I have been living in the UK for years.

I work everyday to fuel my pedal and instrument addiction. The seamy side of this process is that there is barely anytime left to use all the accumulated gear but so be it.

I have spent loads on amazing pedals thanks to Effects Database (or because of it... it all depends on how you look at it. From my wife's perspective, it's an incredible financial loss and a major waste of space!) and I have always been a fan.
I was also reading What's That Dude Play? daily back in the days, so I like the idea of a forum with all these good people under one roof. Hopefully it'll streamline my daily info capture, who knows...

Hello. I'm Thomas from Florida. I play guitar and bass, and I am fascinated with weird sounds and the circuitry that makes them.

Hey hey,
This is Cyrus AKA bongomania on TB, TGP, GS, etc. and AKA www.OVNILab.com the compressor review and FAQ site. I've been fooling with effects since about 1985, and became unhealthily obsessed with compressors around 2006. Oh, and bongo drums--can't forget the obsession with bongos!

Hey, names greg. Also known as gregmon79 on here and on TB. Just joined so hopefully I'll be learning a lot about more effects. Been playing bass for 14 years and just recently in the past 6 months have become obsessed with effects. Want to start building some eventually and figured this would be a great place to start learning more interesting things.

The name's Josh Pelican. Born and raised in Dartmouth (Halifax), Nova Scotia. I like horror movies, coffee, loose leaf tea, fast music, slow music, and buying loads of gear.

I'm on TalkBass and ILF. You can usually find me lurking on one of 'em.

I'm J, from France. I play multiple instruments (guitar, bass, keyboards, drum machines...) and do good when it comes to recording. I as well have a problem with music gear - and sneakers, even clothing in general. I also enjoy politics, economy, sociology, philosophy, history, cooking and I watch a hell lot of TV series.

I run this : alternativeguitargear.com which is the - I'm hoping - French place to talk about gear for alternative genres of music.
I do music with a buddy : Etherealness Trip Hop / Electronica / Soundtrack
I post other music related stuff (songs, gear demos...) from time to time : on SoundCloud

You can also find me lurking on ILF and the Moog forum for the most part. ;)

Hey there,
I'm Isobel. I'm a stay at home mom for a one year old, trying to figure out how to fit in making weirdo noise around her nap schedule. We live in New England, USA.
I'm primarily a resident on ILF but I really like the international quality of this crowd.

No way! I've been reading the compressor reviews compulsively recently, great resource! Thanks for taking the time to do that. At the moment torn between the diamond and the g-lab bc-1... Anyway I digress, welcome to the forum!

Hi everybody, here is Robert :)

I'm from Poland, but since pretty long time I live in Frankfurt/Germany.

I love playing guitar and I'm prone to serious GAS-syndrome. But I'm working on it ;)

BTW I really enjoy visiting Musikmesse and photography too, so this year we teamed-up with Bart
and I was doing some pics of effects for him. I hope You like it :)

Postby Black Arts Mark » Mon Jul 01, 2013 3:18 pm

Greetings,
Mark from Black Arts here..ya see, I used a very clever username. Black Arts Mark. Get it? 8-)

In a nutsack, I am the head conspirator and lead monkey at Black Arts Toneworks. I try to use forums as much as possible but sometimes my attention span is not what it should be. Hopefully this forum takes off and keeps a down to earth attitude. Fx are fun.
SO a little about me you ask?
I like beer, motorcycles, wimmens and especially beer and wimmens on motorcycles.
I like wimmens that looks like wimmens, not little boys. I like beers that are beers, not mass produced pisswaters, I like motorcycles that scare the fuck out of you when you grab a handful.
I hate everything else.
Cheers!
Mark

Hi! I'm Peter from I Heart Guitar. I'm from Melbourne, Australia and I've been playing guitar since I was about 8. I work in social media for Seymour Duncan, I write articles for Gibson.com and Andertons.co.uk, and I also contribute to the print magazines Australian Guitar, Mixdown, Beat, The Brag and Blunt.

My guitar tastes are pretty broad, I guess. I have the requisite classics - Strat, Tele and Les Paul - as well as an army of Ibanezes (6, 7 and 8-string), a Taylor SolidBody and a Buddy Blaze prototype 7-string. Still waiting for that perfect ES-335 to come along. And a 12-string Rickenbacker. And something V-shaped. And something with P-90s. And... etc etc etc.

Hello

This place looks interesting.

I'm from Baltimore or Bmore, Murlin as we locals say.

Long time HCEF member - until they lost my username and password. Still check out TGP, AGF, and a few others.

I play guitar mostly. More acoustic these days - old Gibson Nick Lucas, Seagull spruce top, Recording King RP2, Guild D40, Guild F212.
But sometimes I still plug in - 1972 Tele, Schecter Hellcat VI.

I seem to have peaked on my buying of pedals and such a year back or so. But I still look. :)

Probably going to sell a bunch, just to get them out where they'll be used.

Here's a preliminary list. Let me know if you're interested in anything, package deals available.

Hi People,

My name is Scott and i harbour a deep seated love of/obsession with everything that makes electric guitar sound weird/LOUD/ridiculous.

Quit my day job as an Engineer around 8 years ago to work full-time on what started as a little hobby:
