Anyone dig the “HUM” parameter in LINE 6’s amp simulation pr

Just notice that there is a “HUM” parameter in LINE 6 POD HD series. I believe it is also included in their HELIX series. That parameter is just as its name. It gives you the humming noise of the heated transistor in an actual amp. Some might find it annoying, because it’s just plain noise. But some has considered it as one of the essentials to replicate the authentic feel of the original amp.
I used a SLP model in it. When I crank this “HUM” parameter, it’s noisy, but at the same time, more dynamic, and fatter bottom end, more touch-sensitive. It does reinforce the authenticity.
Totally dig it!
Besides, you are playing rock music. It’s in his nature to be loud and noisy. So some noise should be no problems at all.

Interesting :D

On the one had it's definitely part of a vintage sound, but to me it would feel a bit weird to add hum like this :D
