Yes, I ordered one. No experience with programming for audio, but I really want to try this :-)

(and in C/C++ it should be easier than the Line 6 Tonecores and other alternatives)

As my day job is being a programmer this does appeal to me too, plus the level of support online for c is already huge which is invaluable

Yes, I think the "OWL saints" are getting them now, I ordered 1 "Early OWL" which should be next and a 2nd pedal later (trying to help with the stretch goals). I'm not sure if they'll ship 2 at the same (early) time.

please do share your opinion of it when it comes in ! very interesting concept. would love to see the extent of the possibilities on the programming side, ie can you come up with very wacky , or just variations of standard concepts (phaser, flanger, etc etc lablablalbla)

I think you can make anything you want with it, there are some examples on the site.

You can also use your code in a plugin they made, so you don't even need the pedal to experiment with it:
